Unfortunately, that sort of legal advice is probably beyond the scope of our expertise here. Also, you didn't say what nationality you are, so that makes it VERY difficult to offer much advice. Are you planning to emigrate to the U.K. or just work or study there for a limited time?
I'd suggest that you contact the nearest British Embassy, as they would be able to provide the most accurate information.
