Hey there, I'm currently a student from Singapore, planning for a Europe trip next mid June and will probably last for a month. I have a lot of countries in mind to visit but I know that because of the little time we have, we can only pick a few places, so I would like 2 seek opinions from the pros regarding this, what would be the must-go countries ? I plan to start my trip from UK

It all depends on your interests.
What do you like to see, museums (which kind), beach, mountains, small towns, big cities, historic places ... etc etc.
A little bit more information would make it easier to give any suggestions

hoyu0009,
Welcome to the Boards!
To begin with, I'd suggest that you check local book stores or Libraries to see if you can find a copy of Europe Through The Back Door. It will provide you with LOTS of information on planning your trip, and how to travel efficiently.
With only a month for travel, try not to overestimate the countries you'll be able to visit. Try to choose locations that are relatively close, so that transportation times are minimized.
Also, as herrbert mentioned, it would help to have some idea on your interests and what you hope to see in Europe?
Given your home location, one other point that came to mind is that you might want to check to see if any of the countries you'll be visiting will require a Visa?
Good luck with your planning!

hoyu0009,
just a quick thing.. since you are not actually traveling that soon, you might want to wait a few weeks and get the new Europe Through the Back Door 2010.. it's supposed to come out on August 11th..
that book, plus all the help and advice I've been getting on these boards are making my dream trip a reality.. people here are really great..
enjoy your planning.. it's all part of a wonderful trip!!
