Planning my trip to Europe and browsing different websites. Went on www.germanyagogo.com and they have offer for renting a GPS. If your anything like me and have a hard time with directions this is a god send! I dont want to look like a tourist and have to ask how to get somewhere. To rent for 7 days is $104 and will save me from buying a Rosetta Stone to learn German!

zsazsa123,
Depending on where you're located, it may be not that much more to buy a GPS unit, which would then be available for future use. You might check E-Bay for units that have both European and North American maps pre-loaded such as the Garmin Nuvi 370. That's an older unit (and now discontinued) but I've been using one on European trips for the last few years and it's worked well.
You could also check Amazon for newer units. For example, they have a Nuvi 275/275T listed for US$178.34 (which has both European and N.A. maps).
Cheers!
