Hey guys I have a spare few days on my way from munich to amsterdam next year... any suggestions on which towns/where to go/what to see in the rhine region? Ive heard it is beautiful would like to hear from anyone thats been there!

Could you provide some further information on the types of sights that you usually like to see? That will make it easier to provide suggestions.

As Eagle suggested some extra information would be nice.
The Rhine / Mosel region is a nice green region, with the possibility to make a river cruise on one or both the rivers. The Mosel leads into the hills of the Eifel, which has some smaller villages. (Zell is nice) you will also see many vineyards, and a couple of castles.
Along the Rhine you will find some bigger places, like Koblenz, Cologne, Bonn, Düssedorf, and into the Netherlands: Arnhem.
I don't know your time of travel, but in summer you could plan your visit, with the Rhein on Fire festival.
