I booked my ticket. I'll be flying out really late on the 25th of March (technically, early on the 26th) and getting to Copenhagen later that day. Due to the cost of accomodations in that city, I'm staying across the water in Malmo Sweden. It's an easy 30 minute trainride to get to Copenhagen. My itinerary is as follows:
March 25th: Go to airport, fly out shortly after midnight March 26th: Arrive in Copenhagen around 5pm, train to Malmo March 27th: Explore Malmo March 28th: Copenhagen March 29th: Copenhagen or Malmo March 30th - April 6th: Train to Stockholm, 7 nights in the city April 6th - 13th: Fly to Paris, 6 nights in the city
Any recommendations?

Do you recall what the train ride costs? I have taken it, but I don't remember and I'm sure it'S changed. You can get pretty good deals at some Copenhagen hostels - Hostelbookers.com and Hostelworld.com has about 20-25 Euros per night for your dates in Copenhagen, and on Hostelworld.com I see about 20 Euros for Malmo. I am just saying that because Copenhagen just has a lot more to offer than Malmo, in my opinion.
From Copenhagen, I really liked visiting Roskilde (with Viking museums and an abbey) and Helsingborg and its castle (more train rides, but Scandinavia is expensive, no way around it). The Resistance Museum and the Jewish Museum are likely of interest. It's been a while so a lot of the attractions are not jumping to mind. I do remember visiting the Copenhagen public library - for me, that is quite fun and they had lots of English books.

I don´t know if there is a reason to be in Stockholm for 7 days, but that´s pretty long. The Vasa museum is a must in my opinion.
I would doubt it if Skansen will be opened already in March/early april.

I checked and the train, return, is just under $30 CDN There isn't a whole lot that I want to see in Copenhagen (basically what you named) and I also want to see Lund and maybe the viking museum that's 30 minutes outside of Malmo. Also, it's 7 nights but only 6 days in Stockholm. I'm also planning two day trips from the city; one to Uppsala and the to a really old, medieval town who's name escapes me right now Skansen is open all year around, but not to the degree they are open midsummer. The Vasa museum is top of my list. There are lots of other museums too.
