beachdude, could you let us know what time of year you're planning to travel - that will affect the suggestions and things available.

beachdude,
Your last Post raised a bit of a "red flag" when I read it. Flying into that part of the world with a one-way ticket could be somewhat problematic. I've heard of at least one case lately of some people that arrived in the U.K. with a one-way ticket. They were detained at the airport and promptly deported back to Italy (which is where they had arrived from), even though they were able to demonstrate that they had adequate financial resources.
The situation might be less serious if you're travelling on an E.U. Passport?
Cheers!
