Ill be travling by train from barcelona to rome i have 17 days to do this ill be travling from may 26 through june 13. should ipre book hostels. Also where else would be good to go while im making this lil trip im figuring i need 4 to 5 days in barcelona and 5 to 6 days in rome where else would be good to spend a lil time?

michael949, based on this Post pretravel.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=8084&page=1#48508 I'm guessing you've come up with a skeleton of an itinerary for your 17 trip. If you're starting in Barca and ending in Rome, you can either travel by train around the Med for 6-7 days, or spend your time around Spain and fly to Rome for the final part of your trip - depends on the places and things you'd like to see/do. Question is - do you want to see more of Spain than just Barcelona or would you prefer to stop once or twice on the way to Rome?
