Perugia - Eurochocolate?

Has anyone been to Perguia, Italy? Especially during the annual Eurochocolate festival? We were planning to be in Italy (hopping around Florence, Cinque Terre, Venice and Rome) in Oct. around the same time as Eurochocolate (Oct.15-24) and thought we may want to stay for a few days.

If you've been, can you offer any advice? Thanks!

naldridge, I have been to Perugia several times and have always enjoyed my time there, but never during the chocolate festival. Considering Perugia is home to Baci (aaaahhhh) chocolates (the Perugina factory is just outside the city), I would suggest the festival would be well worth a visit. Some of the best festivals are the lesser-known ones, so if it coincides with your visit to the region, I say chocolate-a-rama!
