I have purchased my plane ticket and booked my hostels for my 6 weeks summer trip to europe
I've done some research on the eurail site but am still uncertain about certain things.
I was planning to buy the select pass
the trains I will be taking are:
1. Paris to Geneva
2. Geneva to Interlaken
3. Zurich to Venice
4. Venice to La Spezia
5. La Spezia to Florence
6. Florence to Sorrento
7. Sorrento to Rome
8. Rome to Athens
A few questions:
Does the eurail pass cover any sort of transportation from Rome to Athens (ferry) as I know this is not possible by train
Does the distance of travel matter or does the rail pass just count each ride?
Is it a better option to purchase the
1. Select Pass for 3 countries, 8 days in 2 months or
2. Select Pass for 4 countries, 8 days in 2 months
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
