Hi everyone! I am attempting to plan a 10-14 day trip for May or June of next year with a friend of mine. We are looking to keep it a bit shorter this time since it is our first trip of this sort and will use our experiences for a much longer trip later. Dont have our destinations set in stone yet, but right now we are looking at Netherlands, Denmark and Poland. We are planning on staying in hostels and traveling by train as much as possible, but want to take in many sites and get a good experience of the culture. Any suggestions and advice woud be extremely helpful!!! THANKS! ;D

Welcome to GFE, rabbit26.
As you've chosen some countries already, could you advise the actual cities in each country you are considering? This will help with suggestions of time to spend in each, however as you know you only have 10-14 days (does this include travelling to/from Europe?) then you will be looking at only 3-4 cities in total I would say.
To help with suggestions, could you tell us if you are into museums, outdoor activities, food, architechture...any specific things you wish to see/do? Once we have this, I'm sure we can offer suggestions and help make the most of your time on your trip.

Hello! As of right now we dont have anything set in stone, but once I return home in a few weeks we are going to sit down and decide for sure what cities we would like to visit. But I would say we are definitely wanting to visit Amsterdam, and possibly Copenhagen and Warsaw. One thing we would both like to see however is Auschwitz (sp?). Other than that, we are up for pretty much anything that will let us experience the local culture, especially local cuisine.
The 10-14 days does not include travel to/from Europe. I also plan on reading Europe through the back door to get some more good tips/advice.
Thanks for the help!!!

Auschwitz can be done as a daytrip from Krakau. (Krakow) and with this mix of cities Berlin seems like an obvious choice to throw in as well. But that would be all that you would have time for with a 10-14 day timeframe.

Definitely check out the nightlife and coffee shops in Amsterdam! It is awesome! You may want to purchase an entertainment guide before you head off just to plan out what to wear or what to expect from the party scene over there. I would recommend Party Earth's entertainment guide! _______________________________________________________________________ Party Earth - Europe.
