Hi, I was just wondering, when we are walking around cities is there anywhere we can leave our luggage while we tour? For example, if we are only spending a day, not a night, in a city are there possibly luggage storing facilities around? I know some train stations have them at the platforms but are there any other places around cities that may as well? I just can't imagine walking around Cinque all day with my luggage strapped to my back. Thank you! Lauren

laurenc418,
The baggage storage facilities will vary in each location. Some stations will have storage (usually for a charge) and some won't.
Regarding the Cinque Terre, I believe that La Spezia Centrale has luggage storage, but I don't have any details on whether this consists of lockers or a staffed facility, nor the costs. If you're just planning to be in the C.T. for one day, that would be one option to consider. Be sure to check the opening and closing times of the luggage storage, so that you don't return late in the day and find it closed.
You'll likely be accessing the C.T. via La Spezia, so you'll be passing through there anyway.
Good luck!
