Hello everyone. Im kind of planning a trip to the United Kingdom. The idea just come up...=P We're planning on going during spring/easter break. As I am on a very early stage, Im just briefing for some cities to see. I guess London and Edimburgh are a must, but what else? Imagine you had 15 days to go around Britain, what cities you would choose to go to?
Also, do you think an interrail ticket is needed, for such a short period? Because in Italy, the train tickets bought individually were 200 € less then the pass (of course we only took 2nd class, slow trains, but its ok because its one night less paying for an hostel)... Anyway, which one do youn think is better here?
Also, is it much cold, during that time? =S I was freezing when I went to Strasbourg, during that time, and I suspect is a looot colder x)
Well, thank you all*

beckysmyt, welcome to GFE.
The UK in Spring is still quite chilly in the evenings and up north can be a little cool during the day too, plus there are the usual (well, I say usual, but this year has been odd) showers to deal with, but it's still a good time to travel around. A Spring-weight jacket should be enough, along with layer dressing (ie shirt, cardigan/sweater that you can start in and remove as the day warms up).
Travel by train around the UK is expensive, so I would certainly recommend a rail pass. Italy train travel is quite cheap, that's why the pass wasn't worth it, but as an example for the UK, a train ticket bought the day before for travel from Glasgow to London costs around GBP99.
As far a cities to visit, London and Edinburgh are great starts, Depending on your interests, you could consider Oxford, the Lakes District, York, The Highlands (Inverness, etc), Bath (with a side trip on the way to Stonehenge), Liverpool, the Cotswolds and villages in Wales. There are great day trips to be had from London if you plan to spend a few days here (eg Leeds Castle, Windsor Castle, even Bath and Stonehenge).
Once you've had a chance to consider a list of cities, post your intinerary and we'll be able to offer more suggestions.
