Hi everyone me and my girlfriend are planning a 3 week trip to europe may 2011. We just need some input on the best way to get around if you are traveling from london to europe. I really want to get to prague just not sure the best way to get there without it taking almost a full day. We are planning on going to france belgium czech rep italy and end up in spain, any input for this trip would be great.
Thanks

Well the best way would be flying. Check a website like Momondo, to check for airlines. This far from the date it would be useless to check for the date that you want to fly, as most companies will reveal their summer schedule during the next winter, but it gives you an idea.
It would also depend on your final list of cities/sights what would be the best way to get around. If you make a list like London (eurostar to) Paris/Brussels and from there to Munich, Salzburg then it would be easy to train to Prague. From there you would need to get a flight to Spain (most likely Barcelona or Madrid), but in May there also should be flights available to the coastal cities in Spain.

Yeah, what herrbert said, a mix of Planes and Trains would be best. If you're planning on making this trip somewhat romantic, avoid long-distance buses at all costs (sorry Eurolines). They're just too crowded, slow and long.
