Sicily to Rome train may be scrapped

Interesting article on the future of the overnight train Palermo to Rome. It's a shame that these train routes are being reduced or removed as some of the journeys are amazing, if you have the time.

Thanks very much for posting! This is the first I've heard about the demise of the Palermo - Rome rail service. Given the abundance of budget flights to Palermo, I suppose it's not surprising.
