Women's Shoes for Summer Travel

Question for the ladies. I have been advised to avoid hiking boots for summer travel. I have found some shoes that seem good for walking, but also are stylish. Especially for wearing with skirts (also much advised for traveling during the summer). But I know comfort is the top priority. The customer reviews seem positive. Can you all check them out and let me know what you think? Thanks!!

I personally LOVE Simple shoes - I have two of the more sandal looking pairs.

However, I would say no to Cheri - (you want something with a strap or it will hurt your arches when you are walking around) and no to Babette (too heavy and hot for the summer).

I personally would go with open toed as your feet get HOT. What about something like this?

Maybe not that exact shoe but it's a good design with the open toes and back strap.

Is it necessary to bring those sports sandals like those by Teva, as i do not have any of those.

Will slip ons without the back strap suffice? Will be travelling in late april to may..
