Hi!
Does anyone have recommendations for stores to buy travel gear? I bought my pack at an R.E.I, but it was really far away (long drive). I checked the sporting goods places and none of them had money belts. I'm not going to use a waist belt, so I wanted to take a look at some of the ankle belts.. any ideas?
I could buy it online but I'd like to try it on first.

I'm in Los Angeles, so it's not a lack of stores, just not sure which to go to. I went to REI's competitors (Sport chalet and big 5), and they didn't have any. Then I checked a couple luggage stores, but they really only sold suitcases and high-end accessories.

If you do order it online, you can always try it on and send it back if you don't like it. (If time isn't an issue..) If it is quite a distance, it's not really worth the gas. Both Magellans and Rand McNally carry the Eagle Creek leg stash, it's cheaper at Magellans. ($13.85 as opposed to $15) You wear it on your calf. I don't know if it would feel weird or not, obviously you couldn't wear it with a skirt or shorts. Have you thought about a neck stash? It's worn around your neck then goes inside your shirt. You can go to ricksteves.com. This is a great website for travel accessories. ;D
