Wow...that guy just needs to move out of America then.... And as for the "fat" asses, I personally enjoy a meaty ass, it usually means the woman it's attached to will have fun instead of denying enjoyment just because it might affect her looks. And really, if he wants to complain about fat assess, have him come down to the beaches here in SoFla where the older woman still wear thongs!
Still having nightmares over those...

I remember about 5 years ago, I was with my parents trying to get back to Miami airport and we ended up driving through what can only be described as a Ghetto- there was gang related graffiti everywhere, it wasn't particularly nice. Muvver, That ghetto was probably downtown Miami. ;D Really though, while gangs are still a problem down here, esp. in Miami, flying into Ft. Lauderdale is sometimes a cheaper (and always a much safer) plan. However, if you do plan on visiting Miami/Ft. LAuderdale, our Amtrak stations are in decent neighborhoods. As for Greyhound, I used to threaten my Mom that I'd take the Greyhound home if she didn't pick me up....I always had a ride from my Mom then. Greyhounds....just not nice... Doug

I've heard from others that TMobile rates are very very good in Europe, like $.39 a minute or something. Might be worth checking into.

Talking of making arrangements, Ray said in another thread that he was about to email me re visiting Prague. That was 2 weeks ago. Anyone know where he's gone? Well, from reading other stuff from Ray, he seems to be in his own 'Ray Timezone', where 2 weeks is about a day or so... ;D

oooohhhhh I feel inadequate. I speak English. Uh...and enough Spanish to find a bathroom (hey, I'm 10 miles from Miami). Do programming languages count? ;D Really though, as many hear have said, just try to learn basic, polite phrases.

Generally, whenever I go on a trip, I pack extra shoes on the very bottom of my bag, followed by pants, the shirts, with socks and udnerwear on the sides. Then STRAP IT DOWN. This way, when I pick my bag up, all the heavy stuff is near the bottom of the bag, and it's balanced. Any chachkas I pick up on a trip usually get put in between my pants and shirts for the padding.
