Heya, welcome to the board! First, check out the main page. There's more to guideforeurope.com than this messageboard! ;D General agreement around here is to bring about $75-$100 (American) a day. Obviously, the more you have the better. That should cover your food, hostel, and various other things through your day. If all your going to hit is London (pretty damn expensive) and France, You'll need both Pounds (London) and Euros (France) (though I could be wrong, Muvver?) BTW, where are you from? It'll help us help you better.

If you moved to the Pacific Northwest, then you would be much closer to Lizzie, and you would also be pretty close to Kim and me and Patrick and Eagle. What more could you ask? No fair, that'll only leave me and Stanncie here in Florida!

Heya kids, I'm finally in Europe! Can't stay long, someone is waiting to use the computer here at the hotel and is watching me. Yes, you to the left of me. Go away. Anyway, adventure is just starting! Lots of pictures, victim of a pickpocket already (but all they got was a note that had a nasty saying in multiple languages...I plan ahead), and it's off to Venice soon! I'll post again when I can! Ciao!

Hey kids, I've been around monitoring. Been busy finishing up my travel plans (YAY!) and other things going on in real life. But yes, this is generally when things slow down...many people travelling!

I hope everyone has a happy new year! What are you looking forward to this year? I know that I'm finally getting to go to Europe! Cruise with the parents, then I leave them in Barcelona and I'm on my way! WHOO HOO! I've also got the review section in beta (SURPRISE KIM!) and it should be out within the month! It looks to be a great year for everyone!

Not true, I love working at the bookstore. I just don't understand how I manage to keep getting sucked back in to work there... ;D

And it was a WONDERFUL day! School started at 8, but because of practice for some play they are doing I didn't have my kids till 9:15. Tehn we played board games for 90 minutes, then went to lunch. Recess after that, but no one had a watch, so we ended up sitting outside for half an hour. Then we came back and played more games for another half hour and then they went home! YAY for half days! Parents came over for sushi, I had warned them it was going to be expensive. $65 just for me! ;D AND on top of that I finally finished all my college coursework! I'm officially done! Nice day all around. ;D
