You missed some good ones this week, Patrick!
Called this weeks too-although I really liked Clay's, hope he's one of the wild cards.
I know I always find one annoying each week, but I did find Kimberly a bit on the annoying side. Gorgeous voice but calm down already!
Don't remember any of next weeks except the pink haired girl!

Frenchie Davis, the full-figured, powerfully voiced "American Idol" semifinalist who captivated judges, fans and media alike (Entertainment Weekly picked her as one of their favorites to watch), was booted from the show this week - even before we had a chance to hear her sing again.
Reason: She appeared on a porn Web site four years ago.
Thus, she joins the growing list of reality- show contestants with shady pasts - a motley collection that includes "Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire?" stooge Rick Rockwell (his ex-girlfriend had a restraining order placed on him); Justin Sebik of "Big Brother 2" (he was kicked out of the house after pulling a knife on a housemate; it was later revealed that he had been arrested five times in Bayonne, N.J., his hometown, three for allegations of assault and two for minor robberies); "Survivor: Thailand" winner Brian Heidik (acted in "adult" movies such as "The Virgins of Sherwood Forest" and "Sinful Obsession"), and Sarah Kozer of "Joe Millionaire" (appeared in bondage films).
For Frenchie, there's still good news: The show's co-producer says the company will "endeavor to do all in its power to help Frenchie further her career."

Disgusted over the Frenchie thing.....that gal could sing!
For tonight.....have to agree with Simon, no one really blew me away. I didn't 'dislike' any of them, yet didn't really like any of them overly much.
My guess.....Equoia or George......and maybe Ray (?)...the Hercules guy.

I agree though, none of them were amazing.
I have to say I liked the pink haired girl this week, Vanessa I think?

Completely, completely agree.
Joshua and Corey were the only two contenders. Gotta say I picked Joshua from the start! ;D I think he could be the next American Idol.
You're right Ging, the girls were terrible! Brad likes to hear what you have to say about them all before we watch it as you are 3 hrs. ahead. I always check what you thought before we watch it-so far he thinks you've been right on everything!
(Wish he thought that about me.. LOL ;D)

I think he could be the next American Idol. <<<<< From what Simon said to him last night, it would seem he agrees with you! ;D But.......I could swear I saw him interviewed just last week in Kuwait by one of the talking heads on Fox news who was doing live reports from there!? I missed the very first of the piece, so maybe he was just talking about 'Joshua's' unit....but for sure they made a big deal of it and had all the guys singing en masse and made several mentions of American Idol. Then again.....isn't this show 'live'?? If it is I have to be wrong...if it is taped, then he might be gone this week. Wish I had seen the beginning of the Fox blurb and paid closer attention. Tell Brad.....gee, it's nice to be thought of as 'right' about something! ;D g |

The girls were terrible this week. It's funny to watch them argue with Simon and Randy though. Some of them need some serious attitude adjustments - they think they're the greatest thing ever and whoever thinks otherwise (which is everyone except mommy and daddy) doesn't have a clue. I'd have more respect if they could just accept the criticism and maybe work on that aspect of their performance. But hey, if they want to look stupid on national television, it's just more entertainment for me ;D

Oh Patrick, how true! It almost seemed like they must have been 'coached' to talk back to Simon.....really obnoxious! Particularly that girl who sang something about 'what about the children'.....she was awful and her cute-sy/bitchy sass was painful to watch.

But really, the only two good ones were the ones that were chosen... the rest all sucked!
I was hoping Clay would be back, he's really good. Although my overall pick is still with Josh.
Patrick.. yeah, not impressed with that! His sister looked like she was going to have a break down!
