Stanncie, Hey, I resemble that remark!!! I'm a firm believer in Physio (had an appointment today and another is booked for Thursday). Massage therapy is also great! Cheers!!! I'm glad physio is helping you, what is your problem exactly?? I haven't done ortho cases in a while but maybe I can give you some tips... I do love my profession, i tell every young person to get into it, the pay is very good and the demand at least in the US is extremely high, I get job offers every week

Physical terrorists got me going again after i was injured in a car wreck back in '87. my life would be pretty miserable had i been left in that shape!

The mercury thing is because of bioaccumulation... mercury is stored in the fat cells (if i remember correctly) and that gets magnified up the food chain... culminating in us... ah, the joys of being at the top of the food chain.

don't know what Stanncie means by it, but DDR is the term that was used for the old East German regime.

David, the stasi reference is hillarious. Maybe some of my poor patients agree with you
I love DDR is so freaking fun, and you work up a sweat while doing it, btw my pad just broke so i can't play. I'm having my best friend buy me a new one for x-mas. IT's really good for coordination and timing, i wish i could use it for some of my patients, but none of them are at the level i think.
p.s. doug anyone can learn how to play, i'm literally one of the clumsiest and dopiest people around, one the reasons i became a therapist to try and cure myself, it's just practice

David, the stasi reference is hillarious. Maybe some of my poor patients agree with you actually, Samantha, after i posted that i feared it might be too obscure for the younger folks here. it's been a long time since the Stasi was torturing people.
the worst thing i remember about PT was the tilt table. that may've felt like torture, but i'm SO glad i did it! i can't imagine going through life with out being able to walk or, even, straighten my left leg!
oh, regarding that DDR game. i don't think that'd be so good for me. post injury coordination problems make even regular dancing awkward. . . not that i let that stop me!! <i love to dance, just not very good at it>
